FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is included?

Two items: the full-size Extreme Hockey Goal Pro Steel and an Extreme Hockey shooting pad, 24 x 48 in. Nothing else is needed to get started.

How hard a shot can the goal take?

Up to 90 km/h. If you regularly shoot harder than that, choose a heavier goal. A frame rated to 90 km/h will not survive a steady diet of hard slap shots.

Is it strong enough for an adult?

For wrist shots and ordinary recreational shooting, yes. For an adult taking full slap shots, no. The 90 km/h rating is the line to judge by, not the age of the player.

Can I use real pucks?

Yes. The shooting pad is made for regular black hockey pucks.

Can it stay outside?

The netting is UV treated and made for outdoor use. Fold the goal down and bring the pad in over the winter and both will last longer.

Do I need tools?

No. The goal unfolds by hand and the pad rolls out. Up in minutes, down just as fast.
