TERMS & CONDITIONS

As a customer of Better Hockey you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

VAT

All products that we sell within the EU include VAT.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once we receive your order we will immediately send a confirmation e-mail with information about your order. We urge you to check your order confirmation to ensure that everything is correct. If anything is unclear you should contact us immediately. Your order confirmation is also valid as a receipt.

SHIPPING COSTS

We offer free shipping on all orders over 100 € in the EU. To get a shipping quote, you simply need to add the items in your cart and fill out the information requested.

The free shipping offer is not valid for shipments to Russia and Switzerland.

DELIVERY

We ship all orders with UPS Standard. All orders ship from our warehouse in Stockholm, Sweden.

All in-stock orders process the same or next business day. Orders are normally delivered within 2-5 business days. 

If an item is not in stock, you will find information on our website about when the product is expected to be back in stock.

DELIVERY TO SWITZERLAND

We deliver orders to Switzerland with UPS Standard and your order will be delivered to your home within 2-5 business days.

The free shipping offer is not valid for shipments to Switzerland.

When you choose Switzerland as a country at the checkout, all prices are shown without the VAT applicable in the EU. UPS send an invoice to you on VAT for Switzerland plus CHF 21,5 in customs and VAT handling fees. This invoice does not relate to shipping costs.

DELIVERY TO RUSSIA

We deliver orders to Russia with UPS Standard and your order will be delivered to your home within 2-6 business days.

The free shipping offer is not valid for shipments to Russia.

When you choose Russia as country at checkout, all prices are shown without the VAT applicable in th EU.

If the monthly import limit per family is less then 200 € and the total weight is less then 10 kg there is no additional cost.

If the monthly limit per family is between 201 and 1000 € or the weight is between 11-31 kg, there is an additional cost of 15 € for UPS Brokerage Surcharges.

If the monthly limit is over 1000 € or the weight is over 31 kg there is an additional cost of 30%/4 € per kg for VAT and excise duties. There is also an additional cost of 50 € for UPS Brokerage Surcharges.

A storage fee of 0,3 € per kg and day is applied after DAY 4 if not cleared through customs.

TRACKING

Once an order has been processed, we will email you a tracking number so you can track your shipment online.

TRANSPORT DAMAGES

If damage occurs in transit, please report the matter to our customer services desk. This must be done via e-mail to info@betterhockey.se or by telephone to +46 8 449 25 72. Notification must be given within a reasonable period of time after you have become aware of, or might reasonably be expected to have become aware of, the damage. It is therefore important that you remove the packaging and inspect products carefully. 

In order to ensure that all damage claims are dealt with as efficiently as possible, it's important that you keep the product packaging so that it can be inspected. Depending on the extent of the damage sustained, rectification may take the form of delivery of new goods, remedying defects or a price reduction.

RETURN POLICY

Better Hockey want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you want to return or exchange an order within 14 days of purchase, a full refund will be issued for any unused products in their original packaging. All returns will be shipped back to Better Hockey's warehouse at customers expense.

PAYMENT

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment methods. Payment is to be made to Klarna.

    • Pay In 14 Days: The payment period is 14 days from shipment of the goods. This payment method is available in United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Austria and Netherlands.
    • Slice It: With the financing service from Klarna you can pay your purchase in flexible or fixed monthly instalments according to the conditions stated in the checkout. The instalment payment is due at the end of each month after submission of a separate monthly invoice by Klarna. This payment method is available in United KIngdom, Germany and Denmark.
    • Direct Banking: Available in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Your account will be debited directly after placement of your order.
    • Direct Debit: Available in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Your account will be debited after shipment of the goods. You will be notified about the date(s) by email.
    • Card Payments (Visa/Mastercard): The amount will be reserved on your card and will be debited after shipment of the goods.

The payment methods Pay In 14 Days, Slice It and Direct Debit are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check.

General information about Klarna and the user terms per country can be found on klarna.com. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarnas privacy statement.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not register your personal information and will never divulge your personal information to third parties, except to the partners we use for secure payments.

WARRANTY

The products we sell come with a 1-year warranty. This warranty does not cover the misuse of the product or the products fitness for a particular purpose. Neither does it apply to those cases where we are unable to find anything wrong with the product, or where damage is the result of the customer’s negligence.

The product warranty does not apply to errors arising out of any changes made by the customer to the product's function and appearance, such as rebuilding, upgrading or reconfiguration of the product.

Note that for companies, other rules apply to warranty and service information. Businesses purchasing from us receive only the warranty supplied by the supplier, wherein the warranty period may vary between different suppliers. In addition, companies have no right to make any claim over and above their guaranteed right from the supplier.
